Guided tour of U.S. Botanic Garden with OUS – DC

The U.S. Botanic Garden was established by Congress in 1820 and was envisioned by George Washington to promote the importance of plants to the young nation. Located near the U.S. Capitol, it has been administered by the Architect of the Capitol since 1934. The executive director, Ari Novy, and public programs manager, Susan Pell, are scheduled to lead the tour. We will meet in front of the Conservatory entrance, 100 Maryland Avenue, SW at 10:00.
