The University of Oxford North American Office has not reserved a room block at the Pierre Hotel for Alumni Weekend guests. Visitors to New York are encouraged to reserve their own accommodations at any hotel they believe would be most convenient.
About the Venues
Cipriani 42nd Street
Formerly known as the Bowery Savings Bank, Cipriani 42nd Street was built in 1921 and is a national landmark located adjacent to Grand Central Station. The evening will be in the four-story banquet room and will be a seated dinner for Oxford alumni and friends featuring remarks by the Chancellor and a performance by The Magdalen College Choir.
The Pierre Hotel
A landmark hotel in a prime destination, the Pierre occupies nearly an entire city block on the southeast end of Central Park. Oxford alumni and friends are welcome to attend the day-long academic program on Saturday (including a presentation by the Vice-Chancellor over lunch, academic breakout sessions and coffee breaks).
