The Special Events & Alumni Relations team is responsible for all alumni and fundraising events that take place in North America, as well as keeping the alumni network running and vibrant. The Oxford North American Office organizes about 40 events each year, including lectures and book signings featuring Oxford academics and alumni, holiday receptions, admissions information sessions, freshers send-off parties and networking events. The premier event is the biennial Alumni Weekend in North America, which is next scheduled for spring 2018 in San Francisco, CA.
There are over 34,000 alumni living in North America and nearly 40 Oxford Alumni Groups. Alumni volunteers throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Bermuda organize local events such as Boat Race dinners, happy hours, tours, concerts, garden parties, luncheons and more.
