Alumni Authors

As a celebration of our alumni, each month we will highlight a new book written by one of Oxford's North American-based alumni.
For July 2018, our author is Theresa M. Slesinski-Wykowski, Pembroke College (1982).

Terry Wykowski is passionate about helping people to reach their potential in her life and in her work!  She and her co-author, Neil Douglas, founded their management consulting practice, the Oxford Consulting Group, in Houston, Texas over 25 years ago.  Their work and research is expressed in their three books, the latest is featured above along with FROM BELIEF TO KNOWLEDGE: ACHIEVING AND SUSTAINING AN ADAPTIVE CULTURE IN ORGANIZATIONS and BEYOND REDUCTIONISM: GATEWAYS FOR LEARNING AND CHANGE.  Prior to her own business, Terry held management, consulting and training posts for a global energy company and a consulting post for a private consulting firm.  She holds two post-graduate degrees in Counseling and Education from Hunter College and received her M. Phil in Management Studies from the University of Oxford.  She and her husband live in Texas.  They and her co-author and business partner, Neil Douglas, love to attend all the Oxford Alumni Weekends in Oxford every September, in Europe and the United States (see OXFORD TODAY, Trinity Term 2014, p. 21).

You can purchase RETHINKING MANAGEMENT: CONFRONTING THE ROOTS AND CONSEQUENCES OF CURRENT THEORY AND PRACTICE on Amazon.
