A Celebration of
Oxford Sport

Gifts of all sizes have a huge impact, reducing financial barriers to participation, supporting our scholar-athletes, and providing the best facilities such as the brand new Acer Nethercott Sports Centre. To help show the wide range of areas you can support, we have prepared a few examples below:

Kit, equipment and local travel grants

Acknowledging our benefactors
It is our privilege to recognise the indispensable contribution our funders make, which is why gifts at and above circa $350,000 and $2,000,000 can be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s Circle and the Chancellor’s Court of Benefactors respectively.

Supporting Vincent’s Club
Vincent’s Club is proud that the Vincent’s Awards are the largest block of funding open to scholar-athletes competing in officially registered sports at Oxford University.

For 150 years, the club has been at the heart of Oxford sport and is now seeking to develop further its charitable activities. The professional management of the club and the administration of its expanding charitable activities depend on the generosity of alumni.

•   All alumni members are encouraged to support the club’s administration and operations with an annual gift towards the running of the club of at least $150

•   Unrestricted capital donations are needed so that over the next five years the club may strengthen the financial resources available to secure the long-term position of the club at its 1A King Edward Street home.

•   Following the death of former Vincent’s President Sir Roger Bannister, and with the encouragement of his family, the club is seeking to raise capital for the Sports Development Fund to endow at least one new major Bannister Award.

Some Vincent’s Old Members might wish to support these aims by leaving a legacy to the club. Planned giving tax benefits apply to bequests made by US donors.

Thank you in advance for your support.
